E-Grey™ is our modern take on English Earl Grey black tea. In the 1830’s England, Mandarin orange infused tea from the orient was an exotic luxury. The nearest source of citrus in Europe was Italian bergamot, a perfect budget-friendly substitute. Oil of bergamot is fragrant and floral, and lends itself to be commonly used as an ingredient in perfumes. This coveted tea was named after British Prime Minister Lord Charles, Earl of Grey. Jadetiger’s version deepens and balances the strength of bergamot tones with organic orange peel.

As part of our commitment to low waste, we now offer our 50-count bulk box, previously only available for wholesale. We decided to forgo our 15-count refill pouches to provide our Jadetiger Tea lovers access to quench their tea thirst in big quantity - our tea tins can be refilled and re-used to your heart’s desire.
